Every year the fair rolls into town right about now. The hot summer days and nights are lit up with lights, music, smells and sounds of laughter and tractors. I think it takes on different meanings, depending on the time of your life that your in. When your little, its just full of wonder and glee. You go crazy for the animals, the rides, the prizes, the noises and sights are all brilliant and amazing. Then you get a bit older and its all about the opposite sex. What are you going to wear to look cool for all your friends that will be there? Will that person you have a big crush on be there? Next you enter the I’m too cool to hang out at the fair era. That’s for kids. Luckily, that phase seems to fade pretty fast! As you get older, I think it becomes more about connecting with your family, watching the younger people have so much fun and of course everybody loves the food! The exhibits and judgings are a real testament to how hard people work towards their goals for months. The fair is such a big part of Summer that it truly wouldn’t be the same without it!
